Yep-- I bought another lovely antique coverlet. These days, I just buy what I like -- If it's pretty, or has an interesting pattern, if it's something I want to study, or a pattern I might want to try making myself.
I'm not sure what pattern this is, but it's so darn pretty and pleasing! It's heavy which makes me believe that it really is as old as the seller says it is.

Pretty indeed - I think you have an addiction problem! But I can think of worse ones and these coverlets must take up less room in the cupboard than old quilts which I was collecting for awhile. I like that you have those good reasons to keep buying, especially that you like to study them and might reproduce the pattern. That was often why I would purchase an antique quilt.
