Sneak Peak at Road Kill Challenge
At Conversations in Cloth, my local Art Quilt Group, Karen proposed a Road Kill Challenge due in March/April 2010. Basically, we're supposed to walk a mile and work anything we might find on that walk into an art quilt. We can use 1 piece of commercial fabric, and muslin (with any surface design treatment desired).
This is what I found in the wood pile at the end of my driveway, along with a beautifully dyed outfit at the local thrift store--not fit for anyone to actually wear. I have something in mind for these ... Stay Tuned!
